In 1913, Frank Manale purchased a corner grocery store at Napoleon Avenue and Dryades Street and transformed it into Manale’s Restaurant. From the very beginning, the restaurant was a true family affair. The DeFelice family carried that legacy forward for four generations, stewarding the beloved Uptown establishment for an extraordinary 106 years.

In 2019, ownership passed to Jessica and Ray Brandt, who continued the tradition of hospitality that had defined the restaurant for over a century.

In 2023, Pascal’s Manale entered a new chapter when it joined the Dickie Brennan & Co. family along with Steve Pettus, ensuring the continued preservation of this historic New Orleans dining institution.
